(a) Regular Membership. Regular membership is open to persons aged 18 years or older who are residents of the United States, who display a sincere, continuing interest in bettering the breed. These members enjoy all club privileges including the right to vote, hold office, and are counted in a quorum, as long as the requirements for membership are met.
(b) Household Membership. Regards the "household" as a single entity entitled to club privileges including the right to vote or hold office. Household membership entitles the members to two (2) votes in club elections, as long as the ballots are from persons otherwise eligible to vote. Dues rates for Household membership will be 1 ½ times the rate of Regular Membership.
(c) Associate Membership. Associate membership shall be open to any person who is interested in the Serama, but is not qualified for or does not desire a Regular membership. Associate members shall be entitled to all the privileges of regular membership in the Club, except that they shall not be eligible to vote, nor to execute consents, waivers or releases, nor to nominate, second or serve as Officers or Directors of the Club.
(d) Junior Membership. Junior members may participate in Club activities and receive Club publications; but may not vote or hold office. Dues will be at a reduced rate for Junior Members as established by the Board. Junior Membership will not be voted in, but accepted once their application has been received, and the Junior notified of membership. Junior membership may be converted to regular membership upon reaching their 18th birthday.

Per Section 3 of our Bylaws state that each new membership application shall carry the endorsement of two (2) members in good standing. It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that the two named sponsors contact the SCA to verify their endorsement.

I agree to abide by the Constitution, Bylaws, and Rules of the Serama Club of America. I also agree to abide by the Code of Ethics and to act in the best interest of the Club and purebred poultry. Furthermore, I agree to update my membership information as soon as possible when there are any changes.
Currently there are no fees or dues required for membership in the SCA. This will change in the future but members will be adaquately notified before any membership dues will begin.
